LauzHack is a student-run hackathon at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Hackathons are creativity marathons, where attendees work in teams to create something exciting in a short time.

Come and join over 200 like-minded students hacking together during a weekend to make something amazing!

F.A.Q.

Can I participate?

You must be at least 18 years old and a student, or have graduated from university in the past twelve months.

How much does it cost?

Thanks to our sponsors, attendance is completely free. We will provide you with WiFi, meals, swag, and a workspace.

What should I bring?

Your laptop, charger and anything else you'd like.
Please bring a valid ID for admission.

Where is it?

LauzHack will take place in EPFL's Lausanne campus. It's located in the southwestern part of Switzerland, bordering Lake Geneva. You can find directions here.

Where will I sleep?

We have a sleeping area with mattresses, and showers.
Please bring your sleeping bag, towel, and toiletries.

Will my travel be reimbursed?

You are eligible for CHF 60 if coming from Switzerland, CHF 120 from Europe, and CHF 200 from the rest of the world.

What about intellectual property?

We do not claim any rights on any of your intellectual property whatsoever. Everything you create, at LauzHack or not, belongs to you.

What if I don't have a team?

Don't worry! Part of the fun of a hackathon is meeting new people. We will have time at the beginning of the event to socialize and form teams.
